Meet the Osteopaths

Our Specialist osteopaths use both structural and cranial osteopathy to treat patients of all ages.

George Fridd

George Fridd graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 2001, where he later tutored undergraduates in the outpatient’s clinic. He set up the Practice at Ferndown with Lucy in 2008, after moving back to Dorset from London. He practices using both cranial and structural techniques to treat a wide range of problems, not just backs! As a qualified sports scientist he has a special insight into sport-related problems, supporting both the professional and amateur athlete back to fitness.

 

 Lucy Ross BrowneLucy Ross Browne also qualified from the British School of Osteopathy in London. She worked in Bristol for 6 years but decided to relocate Dorset in 2007.  She combines structural and cranial osteopathic skills in treatment of patients of all ages. She is a member of the Sutherland society and has a particular interest in the treatment of pre and post natal women, and childhood conditions.

 

Pam Crosbie came into osteopathy after a previous career in health care where he worked as an ambulance paramedic. She qualified from the British School of Osteopathy in 2000. She has worked both in the UK and run her own practice in Greece for 5 years, where she was the only osteopath on the island. Pam uses both a structural and cranial approach to her treatment. Pam specialises in paediatric osteopathy, and has completed several postgraduate cranial courses with the Sutherland Cranial College. She also uses Western style acupuncture in conjunction with her osteopathy. 

 

 a_Amy_Raynsford

Amy Raynsford graduated from the Surrey Institute of Osteopathic Medicine and previously worked from a small clinic in Hampshire before joining The Practice at Ferndown. Prior to becoming an osteopath Amy completed a degree in Psychology and worked in numerous healthcare settings. Amy treats using both structural and classical approaches combined with cranial osteopathy to treat a wide range of problems in patients of all ages.
